Sync settings
Social Circle periodically contacts the relay server to:
- Deliver posts you’ve created to your contacts.
- Fetch posts, intro cards, and deletion notices sent to you.
In the app’s Sync section you can:
- Enable or disable automatic background sync.
- Choose a sync interval (for example, every hour).
- Trigger a manual sync on demand.
Notifications
The Notifications section lets you:
- See whether system notifications are enabled or disabled.
- Turn on daily sync reminders.
- Enable alerts when content is close to expiring.
- Receive subscription renewal reminders.
The app may also provide a shortcut button to open iOS notification settings for Social Circle.
Safety & moderation
Social Circle includes optional on-device content checks to help filter sensitive or unwanted material. You can:
- Enable Parental Mode and set stricter thresholds.
- Adjust warn and block levels for text and images separately.
- Choose whether potentially sensitive images are blurred until tapped.
Subscriptions
Some features, such as higher-tier rings or advanced introduction tools, may require a subscription. The Subscriptions section lets you:
- View your current plan.
- Upgrade or downgrade (when available).
- Restore purchases after reinstalling the app.
Billing is handled through Apple; Social Circle never sees your payment details.
