What is an intro card?
An intro card lets you introduce two people who both know you. Instead of sending contact details over text or email, you create a structured card inside Social Circle.
Creating an intro card
- Go to the Circle Intros tab or use the dedicated composer view.
- Select the two people from your contacts.
- Optionally, add a short note explaining why you’re connecting them.
- Choose an expiration (intro cards usually expire after one week).
- Send the intro. Two intro card items are created and delivered via the relay.
Both people see the introduction in their Pending introductions list and can accept or decline.
Accepting or declining
When a user accepts an intro card:
- The other person is added to their contacts at the appropriate ring level.
- The intro card is moved out of the pending list or removed entirely.
If either person declines, the card expires and no connection is created.
