What is Ring 3?
Ring 3 is designed for your wider audience — people who should see some of your posts but not have the same access as Rings 1 and 2. Think of it as a follower or public mode inside Social Circle.
Shareable links
For Ring 3 introductions the app can create a share link. You can post this link on your website, social media, or send it directly to people. When they follow the link:
- If they already have Social Circle installed, it opens the app and offers to follow you as Ring 3.
- If not, they can install the app first and then complete the process.
Revoking access
You can stop sharing to Ring 3 by changing your settings or by posting a revocation that tells follower devices to clear your public feed. This is useful if a link has been shared more widely than expected.
